Under the State Level Wildlife Week 2022, a bird watching and biodiversity camp was organized on 03.10.2022 at 6.00 am today. In this program, about 80 bird lovers including the participants of Sant Hirdaram and Saifiya College saw various species of birds, including large gray babbler, gray surprised, purple surprised, little cormorant, night heron, flame backed woodpacker, pied bushchat, magpie. Robin, Green Bee Eater, Laughing Dove, Spotted Dove, White Broad Fantail Flycatcher, Jacobin Cuckoo, Ashy Drongo, Darter, Gray Hornbill, Common Aurora, Small Minivat, White Breasted Water Haan, Bronze Wind Jakana, Common Moorhan, Lesser White Throat The participants got excited after seeing White Throated Kingfisher, Lesser Whistling Duck and Bea Weaver etc. Dr. Surendra Tiwari, Mr. AK Khare, Dr. Sudesh Waghmare, Dr. Sangeeta Rajgir and Mohd. Khalik and other officers/employees were present. Director Van Vihar Smt. Padmapriya Balakrishnan was also present on the occasion. The program was conducted by Assistant Director Van Vihar Shri SK Sinha.
As in today's other competitions, photography competition was organized on the topic “Van Vihar” for junior and open category from 07.00 am today, in which 75 participants participated and submitted their photographs in the form of soft copies. Also from 9.00 o'clock on Rangoli competition for junior class (Class VI to XII) “M.P. Butterflies found in "M.P." and for open category "M.P. A total of 99 participants took part in the theme "Carnivorous wildlife found". Apart from this, from 11.00 am, a school debate competition on the topic "coexistence of humans and wildlife is possible" was organized in collaboration with World Nature Fund India, in which 24 participants participated.

Bird observation and biodiversity camp will be organized on 04.10.2022 at 6.00 am and from 11.00 am in the Vihar gallery located in Van Vihar, college debate in collaboration with World Nature Fund India on the topic “Development is the cause of environmental imbalance”. Competition will be organized.
