On the occasion of International Vulture Awareness Day on 3rd September 2022, a spot quiz was organized at Van Vihar, Bhopal through volunteers of BNHS voluntary organization. Tourists visiting Van Vihar took part in the quiz and received prizes by answering interesting questions about vultures.

Van Vihar National Park also works for the conservation of vultures through the @bombaynaturalhistorysociety BNHS and its Vulture Conservation Center is located in Kerwa. In which work is being done on the conservation of two species of vulture, Long Billed Vulture and White Rumped Vulture. There are currently 60 birds in this center which are giving birth to many new chicks. After reaching a certain number, it is planned to release these vultures to roam in the open when there is a favorable environment.
